Road Safaris in Kenya (starting from the coast)

One Day Tsavo

Collected from your hotel in the early morning, your safari starts with a drive along the main MSA-NBO highway, entering Tsavo East National park through the Bachuma gate.

After a morning's game driving we stop at Voi Safari Lodge for lunch. You will have the chance to see herds of plains game including the rare hirola (Hunter's Hartebeest) antelope which is a rare sighting. After lunch yo,u game drive en-route back to Bachuma and return to Mombasa, arriving back at your hotel in the late afternoon.

Overnight Tsavo East

Day one: You will be picked up from your hotel in the early afternoon after having an early lunch and drive on the MSA-NBO highway entering Tsavo East through Bachuma gate. With a game drive en-route you will arrive at your lodge/camp as the sun sets. Dinner and overnight will be at either Voi wildlife lodge, Voi safari lodge or Ndololo camp.

Day Two: You will have an early morning game drive and return to the lodge/camp for breakfast. A mid-morning game drive around Aruba dam area and back to the Lodge/camp for lunch. After lunch, you journey back to Mombasa reaching your hotel in the late afternoon.

 

Two Days Tsavo East and Taita Hills

Day One: You will be picked up from your hotel in the early morning driving up the main MSA-NBO highway entering Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma gate. A game drive en-route to Voi Safari Lodge for lunch.

This gives you a chance to see elephants as well as the different herds of game on the plains. After lunch overlooking the vast plains of Tsavo you will drive across the main road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. This small, well maintained sanctuary harbors a surprising range of animals. Dinner and overnight will be at Saltlick Lodge/Taita hills lodge with a possibility of views of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Day Two: An early morning game drive and back to the lodge for breakfast. You have a further mid-morning game drive  after packing your bags. After having lunch you embark on your safari back to Mombasa arriving at your coastal hotel in the early evening.

 

Two Days Tsavo East

Three Days Tsavo East and West

Day One: You will be picked up from your hotel in the early morning and drive along MSA-NBO highway to enter Tsavo National Park through Bachuma gate.

With a game drive en-route searching and sighting for elephants and other herds of game. You will arrive at Voi Wildlife Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch you will have an afternoon game drive around the Aruba dam until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Voi Wildlife lodge.

Day Two: You will have an early morning game drive and back to the lodge for breakfast.. After which with your bags packed you embark on your safari to Tsavo West National Park. With a game drive en-route searching and sighting for herds of game you will arrive at Kilaguni Serena Lodgein time for lunch.

After lunch you will embark on an afternoon game drive visiting the famous Mzima Springs where millions of gallons of water gush out from underground. This gives you a chance to see the hippo and fish from this underwater project. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge.

Day Three: Have an early morning game drive and back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast having packed your bags you will embark on your journey back to Mombasa with

a stop over in Tsavo East at Voi Wildlife lodge for lunch and continue to Mombasa arriving at your coastal hotel in the early evening.

3 Days Tsavo West and Amboseli

Day One: You will be picked up from your hotel in the early morning and drive up towards Nairobi entering Tsavo West National park at Tsavo river gate. A game drive en-route searching and sighting elephants and other herds of game in Tsavo West.

You will arrive at Ngulia safari lodge in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive visiting the famous Mzima Springs where million of gallons of water gush out from underground. You can be able to see the hippos and fish from the underwater observatory.

Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari lodge.

Day Two: After an early morning game drive and having had your breakfast, you embark on your journey to the famous Amboseli National Park with a game drive en-route to arrive at Oltukai lodge in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive in the park searching and sighting elephants and other herds of game until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai lodge.

Day Three: You will have an early morning game drive and back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast with your bags packed you embark on your safari back to Mombasa with a brief stop in Tsavo East at Voi Wildlife lodge for lunch. After lunch continue on your safari back to

Mombasa arriving at your coastal hotel in the early evening.

Malindi

All the road safari departures can also start from Malindi via the Sala gate depending on the minimum numbers from Malindi or they can join up with the Mombasa departures giving the Malindi clients a very early pick-up.

Malindi Town Tour

Pickup from your hotels at about 0800hrs and drive to the ancient Gede Ruins for a guided tour by a local guide. You will return to Malindi town and visit the Vasco Da Gama Pillar, the Portuguese Chapel and then into the narrow streets of the old town. You will also visit the falconry, the snake farm and finally the wood carvers at the workshops.

You will return to your hotel in time for lunch after an enjoyable souvenir shopping spree!!
