Wedding Safaris in Kenya
(i) Weddings US $1,250 per couple
Book with Travel Africa Safaris for your perfect wedding in Kenya. We assure you of the most memorable experience on your auspicious day of your life. Documents required include:
- Copy of both your birth certificates
- If never married before, a copy of affidavit signed by your solicitor or lawyer, confirming marital status
- If one of the parties is a divorcee, the divorcee certificate including the Divorcee Absolute
- In the case of a widow or widower, a Death Certificate is required
- If a change of name by Deed Poll has occured, then legal proof is required
- If under the age of 21, evidence of consent of parents is required in the form of an Affidavit, stamped by the Notary Public
- Occupation of both parties
- Addresses of both parties
- Both parties father’s name , surname and occupation and their home addresses
- Photocopies of passports
NB: It is requested that both bride and bridegroom are in Kenya at least one week before their wedding. Weddings are only conducted on week days and not weekends/public holidays.
(ii) Renewal of Vows - US $1,000 per couple
Just bring with you your Original Marriage Certificate. This package includes:

Honeymoon Safaris
(i) Honeymoon Rendezvous
DAY 1: You will be picked up and transferred to either Moi International Airport to board an afternoon flight to Nairobi where you will be assisted by a Travel Africa representative to connect an early evening flight to Kisumu or you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport(JKIA) to board an early evening flight to Kisumu.
The difference in airports depends on whether you are in Nairobi or Mombasa.
At Kisumu Airport you will be met by your Safari guide who will accompany you on the journey to the tranquil Rondo Retreat Centre situated in the heart of the famous Kakamega Rainforest to arrive in time for dinner.
Relax and enjoy the beauty of this spectacular place viewing different species of butterflies flying just outside your window and listen to birds singing beautiful tunes in the air!
At Rondo retreat you will just rest and relax listening to the bird songs in the air and the beat of your heart! At Rondo you escape from the ordinary into the extra ordinary world of peaceful nature surrounded by birds, butterflies, flowers, cool air etc. You will do, see and experience so many exciting things exploring the wonderful world of the Tropical rain forest!!
Dinner and Overnight at Rondo Retreat Centre(HB)
DAY 2: Let the beautiful butterflies tantalize your sight while the chirps of the numerous birds serenade you as you enjoy a walk along one of the nature trails that runs right down to and along the Yala River or a climb to Lirhanda hill that rises above the forest canopy with stunning vistas of the forest and surrounding countryside.
After breakfast you will bid farewell to this wonderful world of the tropical rain forest and head for Kisumu City (Imperial hotel). You will be picked up from Imperial hotel for your transfer to Mfangano Island Camp to arrive in time for lunch.
The activities included in the Mfangano package are bird watching on lake Victoria, Watersports, Fishing for Tilapia and Nile Perch, visits to the local village and school, guided trail walking and bird watching on the Island plus a visit to Ruma National Park.

DAY 3: After breakfast you will be transferred to Kisumu Airport for your flight to JKIA(Nairobi) to connect for a flight to Moi International Airport and a drive back to your hotel.
(ii) Honeymoon Tryst
DAY 1: You will be picked up from your hotel to begin an unforgettable experience when you drive along the Nairobi – Mombasa highway on your way to the Taita Hills Wildlife sanctuary.
The sanctuary is located at the foot of the Taita Hills and is home to a diverse number of wildlife . You will have a game drive enroute sighting for lion, elephant, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe and the different species of birds arriving in time for lunch at the Sarova Taita Hills Lodge.
Experience the English country charm of this creeper covered lodge. Take a siesta or enjoy an afternoon swim in the pool at the Lodge and thereafter proceed for an afternoon Game drive till sunset. Amid the passionate blush of a tropical sunset let the romantic atmosphere of the Sarova elegance embrace you as the approaching night whispers seductive endearments for your ears only!!
Dinner and Overnight at Taita Hills Lodge.
DAY 2: Enjoy an early morning game drive before you come back for breakfast. After breakfast you will set off for Tsavo West National Park which is adjacent to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
On entry into the park you will enjoy sighting for elephants, hippos, giraffes, lions, warthogs and numerous species of birds to arrive for lunch at the luxurious romantic Finch Hattons Camp.
This is a tropical paradise where romance and luxury are the only language spoken. Still in the honeymoon mood, afternoon you will enjoy a game drive with a visit to the renowned Mzima Springs (a series of clear pool water gushing from below a lava ridge.
At the springs you will have a chance to visit an observation platform and underwater glass tank which provides a special vantage point to view the goings on in the water.
Dinner and Overnight at Finch Hattons Tented Camp.
DAY 3: With the beautiful bird melodies saluting the sun you will embark on your farewell game drive sighting those nocturnal hunters staging a last minute hunt before retiring to the coolness of their dens and the early risers foraging for those juicy shoots, leaves or stems.
After breakfast you will check out of the camp and set off for Voi Wildlife Lodge to arrive in time for lunch before proceeding for drop off at your coastal hotel.
